- Abstract
- The interethnic (mixed) family is a factor propelling ethnic and cultural convergence and instrumental in assimilation trends. The attitude toward the mixed family thus remains rather contradictory and may range from the one of approval to that of rejection. The article discusses this social phenomenon, drawing on statistical data and findings of sociological research.
