Abstract

This is a publication of a list of names found by chance in Anapa in 2013. Three names are to be read on the fragment: Papas (supposedly) in the first line, Theocritos in the second and Neocles in the third. Of special interest is the name of Neocles, very common in Gorgippian inscriptions and in the 2nd century AD with the representatives of the polis’ elite who held the office of “governors of Gorgippia”.
