- Abstract
- The article analyzes the philosophical origins of formation of the strategy of "soft power" as an essential component of the political orientation of modern China that demonstrates progress in economic, political, social and cultural fields. The doctrines of Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism which have exerted a great influence on formation of the principles of the "soft power" political concept are considered alongside with the use of these doctrines for rendering political influence on neighboring countries.
