- Аннотация
Изменения демографической ситуации в США неизбежно влияют на политическую жизнь страны. Одна из ключевых тенденций демографического развития в последние годы – рост численности американцев азиатского происхождения. По прогнозам, к 2050 г. они станут наиболее многочисленной группой иммигрантов в Америке. При этом их роль в политической жизни США, в том числе растущее влияние на исход выборов как муниципальных, так и на федеральном уровне, остаётся малоизученной. Цель данной статьи – проанализировать развитие политической активности и политической ориентации американцев азиатского происхождения в последние годы и возможные перспективы дальнейших изменений.
