Abstract

The article discusses the participation of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) of Europe and Latin America in the development of relations between the two regions. The role of civil society organizations in shaping the agenda when discussing Association Agreements between the European Union and the Latin American countries and integration associations is analyzed. The requirements of the NGOs of the two regions during the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and Mercosur are shown. Examples of the efforts of the European Union in establishing dialogue with civil society organizations of Europe and Latin America are given.
